The Joomla! project recently announced the release of Joomla! 1.6 Alpha 2 to the community. The upcomming version of Joomla! appears to have many of the features I've been wanting built in to the standard installation. Just a few of the features I look forward to are the built in commenting solution, and the new unlimited depth categories feature.

I am downloading the new release as this post is being created, I will create a new section on the development portion of this website to 'tinker' with the new product.
